Connect your ComfyUI
Point the studio at the ComfyUI you already run, and what it reads from it.

Connect
Start ComfyUI as you normally do and leave it running. Then, in the studio, open Engines and add it.
- 1Copy the address from ComfyUI’s own browser tab. On the same computer it is usually 127.0.0.1:8188.
- 2In the studio, open Setup, Engines, and paste the address.
- 3The studio checks it can reach ComfyUI and reads the models, LoRAs and custom nodes it has.
What the studio reads
Your checkpoints and LoRAs appear as cards with their preview, name and trigger words, matched against Civitai so you stop decoding filenames. Your workflows can be imported and get a real control panel for their inputs.
The studio installs node packs a workflow needs into the ComfyUI you connected, restarts it, and tells you what it did.
Keep ComfyUI private
ComfyUI has no password. Do not expose port 8188 to the internet. When the studio works with a GPU it rents, it reaches that machine through a private tunnel, never an open port.
